On Hired, there are two types of assessments that software engineering candidates can take when they join the Hired platform. These are the Programming Skills Assessment and Role-based Assessment. The Programming Skills Assessment tests general programming skills while the Role-Based Assessment is specific to frontend, backend or full stack skills.
If you find a candidate of interest and they don’t have an assessments badge displayed on their profile, you can reach out to the candidate to get an initial understanding of their technical proficiency. You can also request a candidate to complete the Programming Skills Assessment after they accept your Interview Request. The candidate then has the option to accept and complete the assessment for review.
